BIOGRAPHY

Karin Burns is the Chief Executive Officer of San Diego Community Power, where she leads clean power procurement and oversees the organization’s long-term strategic planning. With a background in clean energy and environmental leadership, she is committed to innovation and investment in California’s energy transition.

Karin previously served as the Vice President at Franklin Energy and CEO of Build It Green. She has also worked in international finance across emerging markets and currently sits on the boards of CalCCA and the Power Association of California, guiding policy and community energy development statewide.
